About the role

LTC provide a secure, independent, end-to-end examination management service for our customers and the role of Examinations Manager is the key to making this work.

As the examination manager you will be responsible for ensuring examination events run smoothly from the beginning to end. You will liaise with customers to ensure there is a clear understanding of all examination standards, manage examination schedules, staff and venues to ensure all examinations are delivered according to the specifications required by each customer.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for the supervision of both operational and casual invigilation teams.

Duties & responsibilities

  • The management of all examination sessions within Australia and nominated overseas centers.
  • Maintain an effective customer relationship with all institutions
  • Arrangement and management of examination venues
  • Control of the examinations schedule for all test centres
  • Management of invigilation staff and training requirements
  • Direct management of the Examinations operations teams
  • Build and adhere to an event budget to avoid project overruns
  • Track event key performance areas and identify items to work on for future events
  • Project work on new initiatives
  • Flexibility with working hours which may include some weekend work

Skills & Experience 

  • Demonstrated experience as an event manager
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads is essential
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently within a high-volume fact paced environment
  • The disposition to face challenges with energy, enthusiasm and determination
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Experience dealing with a variety of stakeholders in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in all office suite programs.
  • Understanding of FileMaker database system is an advantage
  • Operations background is an advantage
  • This role is suitable to an all-rounder who has experience in sales, marketing, event management, leadership and training.
