In 2010 the David Jones Learning Project Team was seeking to create an online learning platform to deliver the company’s traditional induction training program in an innovative, consistent and cost effective format.
David Jones believed it to be essential to continue its long history of excellence in its approach to employee induction, to reinforce their “great place to work” message and strategy to attract and retain exceptional talent.
Translating what was in the minds of the David Jones’ team into a workable, functional and effective e-learning solution was a key requirement. The company chose to partner with Janison to do this, and set up the David Jones Learning Portal within a tight timeframe.
Through its powerful integration ability, easy-to-use customisation features and innovative interface, the Janison CLS continues to deliver for David Jones.
The product – which provides nine online modules for induction training – has the look and feel of the David Jones brand, is easy to access and use, provides accurate reporting on outcomes and integrates seamlessly with the company’s existing infrastructure. Crucially, it reinforces the outstanding reputation and core values established by the company over its long history.
The portal has received highly positive learner feedback ever since it launched in 2010. Administrators find the Janison system easy to use and adapt.
