About QATs

Quality Assessment Tasks (QATs) powered by Janison, is an Australian market leader in the development of school assessments for Year 11 and 12 subjects. QATs assessments provide valuable practice materials for students preparing for end-of-year exams, developing high quality resources for the HSC, VCE, SACE and QCE. QATs has a 250-strong pool of highly skilled writer and reviewer contractors, overseen by QATs Publishing Coordinators in each of the states.

The role

We are searching for QATs writers and reviewers to develop senior secondary assessment tasks aligned with their subject expertise. The task is agreed with Janison’s Publishing Coordinator and reflects the relevant state’s assessment authority’s requirements and syllabus. Writers and reviewers are highly experienced, practising teachers. Working remotely, contractors liaise regularly with the Publishing Coordinator to produce a high-quality resource within an agreed timeframe and budget. They accurately apply the relevant assessment authority’s requirements and maintain the security and confidentiality of all task information and materials.

About you

  • be qualified, experienced, and practising senior secondary teaching professionals, with subject area expertise.
  • have demonstrated experience setting and marking senior secondary assessment tasks.
