Position Summary 

As a Regional Sales Director at Janison, you will lead strategic client relationships and drive strategic acquisition within the education sector. Your primary focus will be understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of our online assessment and learning technologies. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to exceed client expectations, achieve revenue targets, and contribute to Janison’s mission of transforming education through innovative technology solutions. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in business development and strategic account management. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Generate new business opportunities in the assigned territory. 
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for enterprise-level accounts. 
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations. 
  • Conduct on-site assessments of client needs and requirements. 
  • Collaborate with regional partners to align resources and strategies on joint opportunities. 
  • Design account plans and manage relationships with existing accounts to identify opportunities for cross and up-sales. 

 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in education software sales at an enterprise level. 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the B2B software sector. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Understanding of digital assessment technologies and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
  • Ability to generate new business and work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation. 
  • Background in software and service delivery; experience in the education sector is beneficial but not required.
